The grils

Alex used to have a hard time saying the word girls.  It’s very difficult to say the R-Ls.  He used to say “grils”.  I would love it and say it that way too.  Until one day, he knew that he wasn’t saying it quite right and we worked on it.  Saying GRRRRR, like a bear says.  And then moving on to GGGIIIRRRLLLL.  We would sound it out and say it over and over.  Every once and a while he would slip up and I would start saying it that way again, but he would notice and correct me.
