We are starting on the garage first and there are many reasons for this: it’s an outside only project on the left hand side of the house, the weather doesn’t matter for the garage unlike taking off part of our roof for the new bonus room, and this way we have a place to move furniture into/get big items delivered that is secure/dry (ex cabinets).
After the garage is mostly done in a couple of months - we will start on the kitchen, bonus room and all the other areas of the house.
So, it’s the start of a ~6/7(8?) month long process to transform our house! We are so glad to be starting even though we KNOW there will be ups and downs! It’s taken only 1 1/2 years to get to the point!
