Playing at the beach

 

 

 

It’s a little bit behind – this was LAST weekend at the beach.  The tide was out and the sand was there to play in.  We brought buckets and shovels to our first beach outing of the year!  It was Sara’s first time since she’s been walking and she absolutely loved it.  We had her all decked out so she wouldn’t burn, and she was about the cutest little girl anywhere!  She even thought sand was yummy!

 

 

 

 

 

The tide was low enough to get oysters, and oysters we did!   Alex ate quite a few, too.  Rock was looking and sniffing, but he didn’t get any (none were dropped).  Right off the BBQ is the best way to have them! 

 

 

 

 

Sara on the lawnmower

 

 

 

 

I don’t know what it is… but, my kids LOVE riding on the lawnmower with their Dad.  Sara got to wear Alex’s “lawnmower ears”. 

 

SHHHH!!!   Don’t tell him because he is totally in a no-sharing anything with Sara phase lately. 

 

The Lawnmower Ears pushed her cheeks together just a bit and it was so cute. 

 

 

 

 

Alex loved to ride the lawnmower when he was younger, and still does to this day. Although, a pretty fun thing to do right now for him is to chase after the lawnmower with his Jeep.

 

 

Back then, Lance would just give Alex the ear protection, but now they both have a set to protect that hearing.

What could be a better way to welcome the sun (ask ask it to stay a while!) than to wear a sunny yellow summer dress?

 

 

 

 

And then see the water table and…

it makes you want to …. want to climb right in
