Seahawks vs 49ers

One of the biggest games of the season and it’s a contentious one here in the Torgesen household.

Haircut time

Who evented such a thing – a haircut place where you can watch sports?  Well, in fact, they’ve invented it for boys/men who just have to get their haircut on a Sunday during football season…

(Or for Mom’s who are willing to take their boy to get his haircut because she’s tired of the wiggling, asking how much longer, and the whining during the times when I’ve cut his hair)

Sara even loved the place.  She was just staying back and watching the game.

But, to the boys who still need to hold their Mom’s hand sometimes, I love you stinkyface!

Yep, that’s him – watching intently on the mini screens right by the station.

Mr. Handsome himself. I was very proud of him because he told the hairstylist he DIDN’T want gel.  I guess, the first and only other time he has gone to a barber, they put gel in it and he hated it.  He said upfront, no gel and when asked, no blowdryer.  Just pure handsome.

Then, checking out the game again before we leave, can’t miss a minute of it I guess!

My 49ers

Yes, yes, yes.  It’s football season again.  There goes my husband, and now both kids, every Sunday until February…

How Daddy watches Sara and Football

So easy, when she’s not mobile.  So EASY!

Lance watches football every Sunday, has 4 fantasy football leagues he’s in, tracks it all on his computer, and also watches his daughter.

We’ll see how things change when she’s mobile…  But, for now…

This is how I caught them last Sunday watching football on TV, watching the computer update his fantasy stats, and “watching” Sara

Football guys triptych

No smiling at all!                      Ok a little smiling…                              A lot smiling!

Lance picked up a new football jersey for Alex on the ‘infamous’ business trip to San Francisco last week.  Alex was so excited to have a new football jersey, one that matched Daddy’s jersey.  We took another picture in 2008, with his then 18 month outfit.  Wow – have times changed.  Photographically speaking as well as how much he has grown!  Lance is also showing off his recent Lasik surgery on his eyes, too – he no longer needs glasses!

Two 49ers men

Today was "Football Friday" at Lance's work and therefore he could wear a Football jersey instead of his usual shirt and tie. He's a 49ers fan (yes - it's a crime - I agree!) he wore his retro Jerry Rice jersey I got him as a surprise last birthday for the first time!

The new jersey looked slick, I must say.
Then, we thought, Alex should wear his jersey we got as a gift when he was born. So long ago! So, this morning I sent of my two best 49er men in their football outfits. And took a picture to commemorate. I sent Lance the picture this morning and he forwarded it to his friend (a lifelong Seahawks fan), Cole, who wrote me back and said "I just called CPS for child abuse."
Too Funny!
Are they ready for the season or what?
Now I just need to go out and get him a SeaHawks jersey - Right?
